Beads are going on!!
I have a question as a new blogger.  Can a blog be about more than one live in my life??  I have two dogs that I love to take pictures of and share with friends and family.  I also have my flowers, especially my roses.  So would it be OK for me to post about them and my family here too?  Or should I make individual blogs for them??
Actually got to feeling worse yesterday afternoon and evening to the point of a low grade fever.  Never did get to stitching and call off for choir practice.   Did nothing more than snooze in my chair and watched a very little bit of TV.  Feeling better this morning, though.  Soon as my morning routine is done, I'll be working on my Poinsettia again.

Happy Thursday!

Raining, winds of around 60 mph, Thunder and lightning.  Possibility of more of the same with hail later today.  Just not feeling like stitching.  Hoping to feel better by choir practice.  Then maybe get some stitching in afterward.

So this is my progress for today.  My Poinsettia ornament is beginning to take shape!
Oh well....as if I don't ALWAYS manage the same foolishness!!

Yesterday, I started my Poinsettia ornament.  It was going so well, too.  Got done all the first color....only to realize this morning, I'd picked up the RED instead of the DARK PINK!!!  So now, I'm snipping and picking it all out to start again. Blessed that there is WAY more of the red than I need to complete it, so I'm sure I'll be able to complete it with the floss provided.

Grumble, grumble, SNURK!!😶

My new start.

I love beaded Christmas ornaments and my wish is,to one day have enough handcrafted ornaments to fill a tree.  I've got some that were sent to me by cross stitch friends, and my sister does felt work ones and I've got a few of hers.  So now I've got a collection of beaded ornament kits to start on.  This one says Pink Poinsettia, but the picture looks white and red.  But the beads are definitely PINK and red with touches of white.

Off I go now, to make a coffee and have a sit down with my new project!!

Happy Monday!!
Complete!!!

Cross stitches fingertips, anyone?

I've noticed lately how rough my fingertips are getting with needle prices.  Being diabetic, I've lost much of the sensation in them and don't notice sticking myself.  But it's getting so the rough, dry skin is dragging on my material.  Does anyone else have this problem.  Any recommendations as to what helps?  My lotions are very minimally helpful and I don't want it on my hands when I'm Stitching.  Your thoughts appreciated.
This was my progress on Stitching Angel by Joian Elliot as of April 15, 2016.

And this is where I am now, April 24, 2016

Hello to all my family and friends!!  I'm trying out this idea of blogging which will probably appeal more to my friends who are active cross stitchers.  If I see this works, I may open another to follow my love of dogs.

I'm hoping you'll want to follow me!  My blog address is CajunCrossStitcher.blogspot.com

Off now to post pictures of my current work!

Happy Saturday!!
